When someone asks what a particular sensation might mean, we turn the question back to them – helping them develop their own relationship with plant medicines and their body’s wisdom.

Our relationship with ceremonial cacao began at a local “cacao club” – a place to gather, move, and connect without alcohol. This introduction sparked a journey into understanding this sacred plant more deeply, exploring various origins and traditions around its use.
Research led us to the heart of authentic cacao production – an indigenous Ashaninka cooperative in Peru’s Junin region the Ene river. Here, family farms harvest vibrant yellow and orange cacao pods by hand, working together to process the beans through traditional methods that honour both the people and the plant.
The entire process maintains integrity – from hand-harvesting the pods to collecting and fermenting the beans to sun-drying without industrial equipment.
We prioritise direct sourcing, working to eliminate middlemen and ensure fair compensation reaches the farmers. Additionally, all our cacao undergoes heavy metal testing – an extra step most brands skip – ensuring purity and safety in a product that should nurture rather than harm.
