  1. What makes your mushroom products different from others?

Our difference begins with using only the fruiting body of mushrooms - not mycelium grown on grain that often contains more starch than medicine. We then apply the complete spagyric process, including calcination and reincorporation of mineral salts - steps most producers skip due to the labour involved.

The resulting remedies contain the complete essence of each fungus - body, soul, and spirit - creating medicines that work on multiple levels simultaneously rather than just addressing physical symptoms. Our commitment to this traditional approach means more work for us but more complete healing potential for you.

  2. I'm allergic to mushrooms. Can I still use your products?

Most likely! What many people react to is chitins - compounds that act like the mushroom's defensive army, protecting its medicinal treasures. Our extraction process removes these while preserving the beneficial compounds.

We've had many customers approach our stall saying they can't even get near mushrooms, then discover they can use our extracts without any reaction. This is because there's no actual mushroom material in the finished product - just the medicinal compounds extracted from it.

  3. Why have you changed from 30ml to 50ml bottles?

We've evolved our packaging to better serve you while maintaining our commitment to quality. Our new 50ml bottles offer 66% more product for just 50% more investment - meaning you're actually getting more value than before. This shift allows us to maintain our uncompromising standards, using only fruiting bodies (not mycelium on grain that contains up to 70% starch filler), completing the full spagyric process, carefully removing the ethanol to replace it with gentle vegetable glycerin.

While other companies might offer similar-sized bottles at comparable prices, look closer at their ratios - many use 1:4 or 1:5 dilutions, while our extracts maintain a potent 1:2.5 concentration. This means you're receiving twice the potency in every drop compared to many alternatives.

We believe in creating extraordinary value while remaining transparent about our process and pricing. The larger size also means fewer orders and less packaging waste for those of you who use our remedies consistently - a small but meaningful step toward sustainability.

  4. What makes Enchanted Earth extracts more potent than other brands?

While other companies may offer similar-sized bottles at comparable prices, the difference lies in the concentration. Many brands use 1:4 or 1:5 dilutions, meaning their extracts are more diluted.

At Enchanted Earth, we maintain a potent 1:2.5 concentration, delivering twice the potency in every drop compared to many alternatives. This ensures you get the highest quality and most effective extracts for your wellness journey.

  1. How should I incorporate your remedies into my daily routine?

While consistent use brings the best results, we encourage a mindful approach rather than mechanical habit. Try taking a moment each morning to check in with yourself: What are you doing today? What support might you need?

On days requiring mental clarity for work or creative projects, Lion's Mane might be your ally. For relaxation days when you don't need that mental sharpness, perhaps Reishi would better support your intention to unwind.

For those drawn to traditional wisdom, consider the planetary connections—each day of the week relates to different energies (Sunday is the day of the Sun, Monday of the Moon, etc.). Taking a medicine on its corresponding day can enhance its effects according to alchemical understanding.

  2. Are your products alcohol-free?

Yes! We've developed an innovative process where we use ethanol for extraction (essential for capturing all medicinal compounds) and then carefully remove it through distillation, replacing it with gentle vegetable glycerin.

This decision came directly from customer feedback - we noticed many people hesitating to use traditional tinctures because of the strong alcohol taste and burn. Our glycerin-based formulations offer all the medicinal benefits without the drawbacks, making powerful plant medicine accessible to everyone.

  3. What is the spagyric process?

Spagyric (pronounced spa-jeer-ic) is an ancient alchemical method of making plant medicines that's rarely practised in modern times due to its labour-intensive nature. The word comes from Greek roots meaning "to separate and recombine" - perfectly describing the process.

While conventional extraction captures only certain compounds, our spagyric process works with three elements alchemists identify in all living things:

The Spirit: Medicinal compounds extracted with ethanol and water
The Soul: Essential oils and energetic components
The Body: Mineral salts obtained through calcination (burning to white ash)

By reuniting these three aspects after separate extraction, we create medicines that work harmoniously with your entire being - not just addressing physical symptoms but supporting emotional balance and spiritual wellbeing simultaneously.

  4. Why has the viscosity(Thickness) of my Elixir/Remedy changed?

As we have progressed in our own alchemy path, naturally our offerings will change. We have now created a unique technique combining ancient and modern techniques to produce Elixirs/Remedies that amongst the strongest in the UK. Our ratio is 1:2.5 with a total of 6 extraction and recombination techniques used. With so much compounds and the use of vegetable glycerin, this has resulted in a product with is much more viscous(thicker).
